Hi, I’m Perri Salka, Owner and Curator of The WonderMart, a community-driven gift shop that exclusively stocks products made or designed by 300+ indie brands from across my home state of New York, since 2019.
Every week I’m on the receiving end of pitches, line sheets, samples and follow-up emails. I know what makes a buyer lean in, and I know the small, fixable things that make a great brand easy to pass over.
Unclear pricing. A line sheet missing key details. A pitch that doesn’t show why the product belongs in that particular shop. These things hold back talented makers every day, and they don’t have to. That’s why I started Wonder Makers Consulting.
I launched Wonder Makers in 2025 to give independent brands the inside view they can’t get anywhere else. Since then, I’ve taught 200+ students how to price with confidence, present their products like pros, and approach shops that are the right fit.
Google and ChatGPT can only take you so far. Sometimes you need someone who has stood on the other side of the counter to look at your brand and tell you honestly what’s working, what isn’t, and what to fix first.
